How to care for Crazy Horse leather

Crazy Horse leather is designed to change naturally with use, so it does not need frequent or intensive cleaning. Regular, gentle care will help protect its surface while allowing its characteristic patina to develop.

Everyday care

Wipe away dust and light dirt with a clean, soft, dry cloth. For more persistent marks, use a cloth that is only slightly damp and wipe gently without saturating the leather.

If the leather becomes wet

Blot away excess moisture and allow the case to dry naturally at room temperature. Keep it away from radiators, hairdryers and direct heat, as rapid drying may stiffen or damage the leather.

Conditioning

Use only a conditioner intended for natural or pull-up leather. Apply it sparingly and test it first on a discreet area, as conditioners can darken the leather or alter its tonal finish.

What to avoid

Avoid soaking the leather, aggressive rubbing, alcohol wipes, household cleaners and harsh chemicals. Prolonged exposure to strong sunlight or heat may also dry the leather or affect its colour.

Good to know

Small marks, creases and changes in tone are a normal part of Crazy Horse leather’s character. They gradually contribute to the patina that makes each case unique.
